Carpenteria State Park

Full hook ups, small and close together spots. Quiet during the week, very busy on the weekend. Booked heavily in advance. Gorgeous walking paths, and incredible winter sunsets. Would recommend to a friend. 

Faria State Park

Full hook ups, level gravel sites. First come first serve, but you can keep an eye out for how many sites are available on the Ventura County website. Beach front spots with campfires are 20 feet from the water so be ready to listen to the waves! 

There is nothing like falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves. The first two places we have stayed in Southern California have been beautiful. Can't wait for the next one!
